DSB The Ultimate Tribute to Hall of Fame Rock and Roll band Journey performed on Saturday evening. It was the final musical performance of the 2011 season at the Starlight Bowl. By all accounts, Don’t Stop Beleivin’ had people rocking and rolling for most of the evening.

Of course, The Basix also had folks doing various (and dare we say, interesting) versions of the boogie during their performance as well. One passing patron was overheard exclaiming, “If I’d known boogie was this much fun, I might have paid more attention to it when I was younger!”

Well, we are glad you could get indoctrinated to this fun dance music on our watch!

Unfortunately, it is true. DSB and The Basix were our last show of the season, but there is one more event this Saturday night. Disney will present “Phineas and Ferb The Movie” Saturday August 20. The event is free. Parking is Free. But you will need to order tickets to the show so we can guarantee everyone attending has a seat to watch the movie from.

The Basix

The Basix have been performing for over 13 years, and have become one of L.A.’s top four-piece cover bands.
