The gates opened at 6pm and the race was on! Thank you to everyone for reserving your seats in advance. All the tickets were distributed and we had one heck of a packed house.
Every kid who entered the Bowl received their favorite character’s face mask (on a giant popsicle-looking stick, no less!) There were little Phineas, Ferb and Peri’s running up and down, and all around. Some parents were able to wrangle a mask from their unsuspecting child. They got to have nice hand fans as a result.
There were tons of other great activities and give-aways as well. The Radio Disney van provided the kids with the chance to have their photos taken with official Phineas & Ferb The Movie memorabilia. Some memories will definitely last forever.
Hopefully the kids who got the permanent temporary tattoos had a great time and showed them off until their temporariness faded away
There were roving entertainers as well. We had a balloon creator (we think they were animals being made!), a magical magician wowing kids and adults alike, and some really, really tall person on stilts (we think they were stilts!)
Before the movie started on the big screen at 8pm, our fabulous sponsor, Radio Disney was on stage playing kid-friendly music, having contests and giving away really cool prizes. Oh, and did we mention more than just a few folks decided that Saturday night was alright for fighting, er, DANCING!
So, just a quick shout out to thank you all who made it down to the Centennial Movie Night sponsored by Disney. We loved it, and we love you, too!
